Data transfers are swift using 1Gb, 10Gb or 40Gb connections, especially when moving data between tiers of GB Labs’ units where our system intelligence and workflow efficiency comes to the fore.

Performance
If you are looking to expand performance, we have three options. You can use 'SPACE EX' units collectively to enhance the system performance up to 100% more, or you can attach our 'HyperSpace' SSD accelerators to go beyond spinning disk capabilities altogether. The third option would be to make use of both of these options to create incredible performance shared storage up to 4PB capacity.

The ability to expand your storage in both capacity and performance means your storage can grow as your business grows, leaving you with the peace of mind you have a future-proof system.

Expansion
SPACE supports cost effective capacity expansion by connecting SPACE EX (16 disks) to the unit. Storage size can be increased dynamically, meaning that data can stay in place as the capacity changes.

RAID controllers will be added after a total of 6 units, this allows SPACE to utilise 17 EX chassis combined with large storage sizes up to 224TB per unit. This gives you a total expansion of 4PB from a single system.
