DZOFILM lenses deliver natural bokeh, low distortion and outstanding colour accuracy across formats from full frame to Super 35. Thanks to consistent colour matching between series, different lenses can be used together in the same project without a hitch — with no extra load at the colour-grading stage.
On the anamorphic side, the Arcana series brings its signature 2X bokeh character with 1.5X Hybrid Anamorphic primes. On the prime side, the Arles Lustre series covers ten focal lengths from 14 to 180mm, with apertures up to T1.6 and a distinctive warm amber halo look. The Vespid prime family, the Pictor, Catta and Tango zoom series, Pavo 2X anamorphics, and the Gnosis Macro and X-Tract probe groups complete the portfolio.
MediaCast supports the DZOFILM portfolio with pre-sales lens selection advice, project-based supply and after-delivery service. The lenses can be experienced live at MCX Istanbul in Bomonti.
The Arcana family brings full-frame 1.5X Hybrid Anamorphic prime lenses with a front cylindrical optical design and signature 2X bokeh character, carrying the anamorphic look into modern workflows.
The wide-angle member of the Arcana family. Full-frame 1.5X Hybrid Anamorphic design, front cylindrical optical construction and signature 2X bokeh character. Delivers the anamorphic perspective with low distortion for wide set-ups and establishing shots.
The series’ versatile standard focal length. Carries the production’s load from dialogue scenes to general coverage; full-frame coverage, front cylindrical optical design and characteristic anamorphic bokeh give a natural, cinematic look.
The long-focus Arcana for portraits and close-ups. Signature 2X bokeh separates the subject from the background cinematically; the full-frame 1.5X Hybrid Anamorphic design works in full colour and character match with the series.
The Pavo series is a 2X-squeeze anamorphic range running from 28 to 180mm, with a front cylindrical optical design and an oval bokeh. With the Marlin 1.6X Expander it also works on full-frame cinema cameras.
True 2X anamorphic squeeze with a wide focal range from 28 to 180mm. Blue and neutral flare options, characteristic oval bokeh and light 1.2–2kg bodies suit gimbal and drone rigs; built-in back-focus adjustment gives flexibility on set.
With the Marlin 1.6X Expander, the Pavo series can also be used on full-frame cinema cameras — the same anamorphic character with wider sensor coverage. A flexible anamorphic set-up that serves both Super 35 and full-frame projects with a single lens investment.
The full-frame Arles Lustre series runs ten focal lengths from 14 to 180mm, with apertures up to T1.6 and 0.8 MOD gears, ready for professional set workflows.
The series’ wide-angle focal lengths starting at 14mm; full-frame coverage with low distortion for establishing shots, tight interiors and cutaways. The warm amber halo character is consistent across the series — the same look from wide to telephoto.
Mid focal lengths that carry dialogue, portraits and general production work. Apertures up to T1.6 enable low-light shooting and shallow depth-of-field control; natural bokeh and outstanding colour accuracy are maintained in every shot.
Telephoto ends reaching 180mm; compressed perspective for distant subjects and intense close-ups. Thanks to the same colour and character match with the rest of the series, changing lenses adds no load to the colour grade.
The entire ten-focal-length range in a single character: warm amber halo, natural bokeh, consistent colour. 0.8 MOD focus and iris gears work directly with standard follow focus and lens control systems. Talk to the MediaCast team about set combinations to suit your project.
The compact, lightweight Vespid family includes Vespid Prime, the new-generation Vespid Prime 2, the retro-character Vespid Retro and Vespid Cyber.
DZOFILM’s broad full-frame prime family: focal lengths from 12 to 125mm. With a compact body, consistent colour matching and accessible cinema character, it is one of the most popular DZOFILM series — from independent productions to large sets.
The new-generation Vespid: 18, 24, 35, 50, 85 and 105mm, all at a constant T1.9 aperture. A renewed optical design with aspheric elements and nano coating, minimal focus breathing and real-time lens data via the Cooke /i protocol. At 766–865g, suitable for gimbal and drone rigs.
The character-driven members of the Vespid family: Vespid Retro, from 16 to 125mm, brings a nostalgic film look to a modern full-frame body; Vespid Cyber (35, 50, 75mm) completes the family for current production workflows.
The DZOFILM zoom portfolio consists of four main series: Pictor Zoom and Tango Zoom on the Super 35 side, Catta Zoom and Catta Ace on the full-frame side. Parfocal designs hold focus through focal-length changes; consistent colour matching allows the zooms to be mixed with DZOFILM primes in the same project.
A parfocal cinema zoom family for Super 35: 12–25, 14–30, 20–55 and 50–125mm. With T2.8 aperture across the series, minimal focus breathing and a body weight of around 1.6kg, suitable for gimbal and rig set-ups; PL and EF mounts are interchangeable.
Continuous coverage from 18 to 280mm with two bodies: 18–90mm at a constant T2.9 and 65–280mm at T2.9–T4. With a parfocal design, a 16-blade iris and phosphorescent scale markings for low light, it is the workhorse zoom family of Super 35 sets; PL and EF mount options.
A full-frame cinema zoom trio: 18–35, 35–80 and 70–135mm, all at T2.9. A 20-blade iris produces soft bokeh; PL, EF and LPL mounts are user-interchangeable. Compatible with cinema cameras including the ARRI Alexa Mini LF and RED Komodo.
The Catta family’s compact full-frame zoom line: 18–35, 35–80 and 70–135mm focal ranges. A light body and consistent colour matching with DZOFILM series; offers full-frame flexibility for single-camera productions and fast-paced sets.
DZOFILM’s Macro & Probe group opens up perspectives that standard lenses cannot reach with two series: the Gnosis Macro family with magnification up to 1.5X and the full-frame X-Tract probe. For extreme close-up detail, product shots and unusual camera angles.
A full-frame cinema macro family: 24, 32, 65 and 90mm, all at T2.8. Magnification ratios from 0.8X to 1.5X, close focus down to 0.155m and a 270° focus-ring rotation; the standard 114mm front diameter ensures accessory compatibility. PL, EF and LPL mount options.
DZOFILM’s full-frame probe lens: with an 18–28mm focal range it goes where the camera cannot — shots passing through objects, low macro perspectives and the signature images of commercial productions. Designed for angles that are impossible with standard lenses.
The DZOFILM accessory group completes every lens set-up — from mount adapters to lens support equipment.
Mount adapters that let you use DZOFILM lenses on different camera systems. Use the same lens set on more than one camera body — your lens investment is protected through project-based camera changes.
Accessories that complete lens support and the set workflow. Talk to the MediaCast team for a choice of equipment that works with DZOFILM lenses on the 0.8 MOD gear standard; together we will determine the right combination for your project.
The features that decide whether a shot looks cinematic, whether changing lenses adds no load to colour grading, and whether the set runs smoothly.
DZOFILM’s precise optical design balances sharpness with cinematic character — with low distortion, controlled flare and natural transitions, the image stays free of digital harshness.
All DZOFILM series are designed on consistent colour science. Anamorphic, prime and zoom lenses can be mixed in the same project — no additional matching is needed at the colour-grading stage.
A natural, soft bokeh character separates the subject from the background gracefully. In the Arcana series, this character becomes the signature 2X anamorphic bokeh through the front cylindrical optical design.
Complete coverage across formats from full frame to Super 35. Whatever your camera system, the DZOFILM portfolio has a series that fits your format.
Robust construction and precise mechanics stand up to heavy set use. 0.8 MOD focus and iris gears work directly with standard follow focus and lens control systems.
The warm amber halo character of Arles Lustre and the anamorphic signature of Arcana give the story a visual identity — looks that are hard to imitate in post-production and natural in the optics.
